Some of the most important decisions a young man has to make in life will come at a time he is least capable of making them intellegently. His choice of career, the woman he will make his wife, enlisting in the millitary or not, purchasing his first home and car. In these matters he can find help most of the time but with matrimony he is on his own. Hence the 50%+ divorce rate.
